Kennon C. Bauman, our founder and principal coach, studied political science, history, and civic leadership at the University of South Dakota before embarking on a 20+ year career working with and for the U.S. federal government as a consultant, analyst, manager, and organizational leader.

Kennon began offering leadership development and coaching services to small business clients and community groups in 2018 and has been a member of the International Coaching Federation and Hogan Assessments’ Independent Coaches Network since 2023.

Kennon is also a dad (to 5 kids), an avid tabletop gamer, a published author, and a student of Okinawan martial arts. Born and raised on a farm on the plains of South Dakota, Kennon currently lives in suburban Maryland with his family.
